The Piedmont Environmental Council (PEC) is a non-profit conservation and environmental organization based in rural Virginia. When Disney announced its intention to build Disney's America, a massive theme park in Haymarket, Virginia, PEC created the "Disney, Take A Second Look" campaign, which illustrated the environmental damage that this project would inflict upon the historic region. Chameleon Graphic Design created several pieces for this PEC effort, including this half-page advertisement that ran in 14 newspapers. Eventually, Disney bent to the pressure from PEC and other groups and withdrew its plans for the park.
